Skin Peels

What is a Skin Peel

A Skin Peel is when a chemical solution is applied to the skin to encourage exfoliation and eventually cause it to peel off. The treatment is used to regenerate and improve the appearance of the skin, leaving it smoother and less wrinkled.

Who are skin peels suitable for?

Most people are suitable for peels regardless of age or skin type. However pregnancy or breastfeeding are contra-indicators. Should a patient have any open wounds or have active colds sores they would not be suitable for a peel.

Anyone wishing to have a peel will firstly undergo a Skin Consultation /Skin Analysis with one of our Nurses/ Aesthetic Therapists. To book a Skin Consultation click here.

What skin concerns will it address?

A Skin Peel will treat the following skin concerns;

  • Sagging Skin
  • Age Spots
  • Aging Skin
  • Crow’s Feet
  • Melasma
  • Sun Damage
  • Acne Pigmentation

Peels results in the skin becoming brighter, clearer and having a more uniformed appearance.

How often should treatments be?

For the best results, treatments are weekly and as a course of 6 treatments. However, these can be spaced out to suit the needs of the patient.

Your therapist will advise you towards a tailor made treatment plan specific to individual concerns.
